Software Dev Engineer IV - Dallas, TX (Onsite)
About the Role
Join a high-impact engineering team as a Software Dev Engineer IV, where your expertise will drive the design and deployment of large-scale, distributed systems. This senior-level opportunity places you at the forefront of developing robust software solutions that power mission-critical operations. You will own system components from conception through operational support while working in a fast-paced, technical environment with talented peers.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize distributed, multi-tiered software systems.
- Own end-to-end delivery: from architecture and implementation to deployment and operational support.
- Apply advanced object-oriented design and system architecture principles.
- Develop primarily in Java; utilize C++, Python, or TypeScript as needed.
- Engineer solutions in Linux and cloud-native environments.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure production system reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and technical teams to drive project success.
- Produce clear, concise technical documentation for system components.
Required Skills and Experience
