Technology Talent Network has a client in search of a talented Business Analyst.

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Employment Type: Contract / Contract-to-Hire / Full-Time

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team and work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and objectives.
  • Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flows.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct requirements elicitation sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops.
  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing test scenarios and validating solutions.
  • Track requirements and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
  • Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews, as applicable.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for business and technical stakeholders.


Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
  • Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
