Job Summary:
Christian Family Care is a social services agency dedicated to serving at-risk children with compassion and integrity. They are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst who will utilize data to create impactful insights, design dashboards, and optimize SQL queries to support their mission. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in data analytics and visualization, along with strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Design and build interactive, executive-ready dashboards using Power BI (or similar tools)
• Partner closely with leaders and stakeholders to define KPIs and data requirements
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries (CTEs, window functions, performance tuning)
• Use Python for data transformation, analysis, and automated reporting
• Perform data modeling and schema design to enable self-service analytics
• Architect and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines supporting dashboards and reporting
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance across SQL-based data environments
• Serve as a technical SME for CRM and operational data systems
• Document data dictionaries, data lineage, and ETL specifications
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, IT, Statistics, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or data engineering
• Strong entry-level candidates with a solid technical portfolio (e.g., GitHub projects in SQL/Python)
• Experience with ETL/ELT development preferred
• Hands-on experience in Power BI or similar visualization tools
• Advanced SQL development
• Python for analytics and automation
• Solid foundation in data visualization, dashboarding, and data modeling
• Comfortable working with tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, and Git-based version control
