Job description

Site Services Technician

What you will enjoy doing:

  • Follow company, customer, and regulatory safety policies; report incidents and near misses
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot gas delivery systems and associated electrical/instrumentation equipment (<600V)
  • Read and maintain P&IDs and wiring diagrams in compliance with SOP, QA, and MOC requirements
  • Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, analyzers, transmitters, valves, purifiers, and meters
  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance using CMMS
  • Perform LOTO, permit work, and oversee contractors as needed
  • Analyze process loops and lead reliability and availability improvement projects
  • Support ultra-high-purity systems with daily customer interaction and compliance training
  • Manage spares inventory, site security, housekeeping, and documentation
  • Communicate regularly with management, participate in safety activities, and complete required training

What makes you great:

  • Strong knowledge of industrial control, instrumentation, and electrical systems; able to troubleshoot 4–20 mA transmitters, electro-pneumatic loops, and control components (valves, actuators, regulators, PID controllers)
  • Associate degree in a technical field preferred; equivalent apprenticeship or certificate training accepted
  • Minimum of three years plus (3+ years') experience in gas production/delivery, instrumentation and controls, and execution of engineering work procedures
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, industry codes, and safe operation of forklifts, overhead cranes, and man lifts
  • Proficient with industrial computing and control/HMI software (Microsoft, Wonderware, Rockwell); able to read and produce P&IDs and electrical drawings
  • Oregon State LME license is preferred
