We're looking for a motivated, eager-to-learn Technician Apprentice who is ready to build a career in automotive service alongside experienced professionals who are committed to excellence. | POSITION OVERVIEW
Under general supervision, the Service Technician Apprentice supports and performs automotive maintenance, repair, and inspection work in connection with diagnosing and servicing automobiles. This is a full-time hourly position that offers a real pathway to earn a great living while developing the skills and certifications needed to advance your automotive career. We invest in our people — through training, certification reimbursement, and hands-on mentorship from our experienced team.
| WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
•     High School Diploma or equivalent
•     Active Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions Certification (Required)
•     Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License (Required)
•     Basic hand tools applicable to automotive repair (candidate must supply)
•     Experience with computers and basic software applications
•     Strong teamwork and communication skills
•     Effective time management and workflow efficiency
•     Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and stay current with service procedures and specifications
•     Ability to demonstrate knowledge and compliance with all shop safety rules and procedures
•     Must be physically capable of performing all duties of the position
| DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
•     Perform all work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with shop and manufacturer standards
•     Conduct PA State Safety and Emissions Inspections
•     Perform thorough and accurate multi-point vehicle inspections
•     Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
•     Document all repairs and parts on work orders completely and accurately
•     Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding repair status, additional findings, and time estimates so customers stay informed
•     Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor with service advisors and clients
•     Work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced shop environment
•     Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and shop environment at all times
•     Perform other related duties as assigned or directed
| SCHEDULE
•     Day Shift | Monday – Friday
•     Minimum 40 hours per week guaranteed
•     Overtime available as needed
| COMPENSATION
| $18.00+ per hour — commensurate with experience and certifications
