POSITION SUMMARY
Flexjet is currently seeking a talented a Software Engineer II who is passionate about innovation and full-stack technologies to join our development team. Flexjet empowers software engineers to learn, innovate, and apply their skills to deliver technical solutions. Our team has opportunities to work with varied departments for multiple brands across the private aviation industry.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Directly responsible for designing, developing, and supporting full-stack software solutions utilizing Angular, C#/.NET APIs, and SQL Server.
  • Analyze technical requirements to design new components and applications.
  • Manage new and existing products and applications throughout their lifecycle.
  • Advise and support colleagues where your expertise will facilitate the achievement of common goals.
  • Introduce new solutions to the product and to your colleagues when appropriate for the business needs.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in technologies and development techniques.
  • Interact with all departments and end users acting in development, technical design, and support roles.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years as a software developer and proven experience across multiple applications.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or 2 additional years of equivalent work experience.
  • Experience developing applications using Angular, C#/.NET APIs, and SQL Server.
  • Working understanding of object-oriented design principles, distributed systems, microservices, and database design.
  • Experience working with Agile methodology.

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Working knowledge of C#/.NET APIs, Visual Studio, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Working knowledge of Angular development, or a similar framework, including component architecture, state management, responsive design, and performance optimization.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server development, including database design, stored procedures, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software as necessary.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
  • Candidate should be self-motivated, independent, and exhibit relationship management skills.
