Summary  

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our OneStream XF Platform Development team. Our company provides Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software for large corporations. Our product is designed for high-end deployments at customer facilities or in the Microsoft Azure cloud. The OneStream Platform contains complex OLAP, multi-dimensional, multi-server, multi-threading, web, and SQL technologies and is specifically designed to solve problems for the Office of the CFO at large corporations. Primary responsibilities will be to design, develop & maintain our OneStream platform and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional design discussions and ensure alignment with technical vision.
  • Write and maintain high-quality code in C#, VB.NET, .NET Core, and related frameworks.
  • Refactor legacy code and improve test coverage through unit and integration testing.
  • Participate in and lead code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and quality.
  • Mentor and support both senior and junior engineers on best practices and design patterns.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new team members and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across product, QA, DevOps, and UX teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Stay informed of new technologies and guide technology adoption decisions.

              Required Education and Experience 

                • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
                • 12+ years of professional software development experience.
                • Expertise in C#, .NET Core, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Blazor, and web-based technologies.
                • Deep knowledge of Azure/AWS, including configuration of elastic pools, VMs, key vaults, and storage accounts.
                • Proven experience delivering production software through multiple release cycles.
                • Strong grasp of software architecture, design patterns, and microservices.
                • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, NUnit, xUnit).
                • Demonstrated ability to debug and resolve complex customer-reported issues.
                • Strong communication skills and ability to influence across teams.

                          Preferred Education and Experience 

                          • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or higher (e.g., AZ-400 – DevOps Expert).
                          • Domain expertise in financial systems or Corporate Performance Management platforms.
                          • Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks relevant to cloud-based software.
                          • Experience leading Agile development teams or projects.
