Seeking a talented AUTOSAR Application with Model Based Software Developer to join our global team and will be responsible Oversee the designs, implements, and validates embedded software features using visual modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and State flow, and configures model to code toolchains (Embedded Coder, Target Link) to produce production ready, MISRA compliant C/C++ for Smart Cockpit ECUs. This hands on engineer owns component design, verification across MIL/SIL/PIL, bug resolution, and continuous improvement of algorithms and generated code.

  • Design, develop, and maintain Autosar Software Components.
  • Configure and use model to code toolchains to generate production ready, MISRA compliant C/C++ from Simulink/State flow.
  • Analyze and fix software bugs and defects across models, generate code, and integration layers.
  • Improve algorithm design and generated code for performance, memory, and real time constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive safety and quality standards including ISO 26262 and ASPICE. Maintain requirements for traceability.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation for models, generated code, interfaces, and architecture.
  • Plan and execute HIL, SIL, and PIL testing and debugging to identify root causes and verify fixes.

• Collaborate with systems and software architects to translate high level requirements into modular, scalable model architecture.
• Create and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines for model builds, code generation, testing, and delivery.
• Train and mentor junior developers; perform technical reviews of models and generated code to ensure quality and robustness.
• Interface and lead debugging sessions with integration teams to resolve integration issues.
• Collaborate with validation teams to analyze defects and close validation gaps.
• Define and maintain development plans, roadmaps, and KPIs, report progress and quality metrics.
• Write best practices and guidelines for model based development and Autosar integration.
• Plan and review outsourced activities, provide technical and managerial oversight, and approve deliverables.
• Leverage AI and GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development, automate documentation, and improve code quality.

Include 1-2+ years leading development projects or small teams, planning activities, and setting priorities.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate external resources and cross-functional teams in a lead role.
Model Based Design: strong practical skills building high fidelity Simulink and State flow models and mapping them to Autosar SWC interfaces.
Autosar: Deep knowledge of AUTOSAR standards for Classic and Adaptive platforms and SWC/RTE concepts.
Code Generation and Compliance: experience configuring model to code toolchains to generate production ready, MISRA compliant C/C++.
• Embedded Software: proficiency in embedded C/C++ with experience in performance profiling, memory optimization, and real time constraints.
• Debugging and Testing: hands on experience in requirements and change request analysis, software debugging, and using testing and logging tools.
• Verification: practical experience with Model in the Loop, Software in the Loop, and Processor in the Loop testing and debugging.
• Toolchain and Automation: Experience with process
automation and CI/CD pipelines; scripting for automation using Python, Bash, or equivalent.
  • Version Control and PLM: hands on experience with Git, GitHub, SVN and Product/Application Lifecycle Management tools such as Jira, Polarion, or Jazz.
  • Hardware Knowledge: familiarity with automotive SoCs and microcontrollers and ECU integration considerations.
  • Architecture: A strong knowledge of software architecture design and system integration.
  • Quality and Process: working knowledge of ASPICE and familiarity with ISO 26262 safety processes.
  • Communication: fluency in English for global collaboration and reporting.
  • Should have strong written and verbal communication skills and preferred with English.

Preferred Skills:
  • Proven experience developing embedded production software for automotive ECUs.
  • Experience with operating systems such as Linux, Android, QNX, Integrity, or other RTOS.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols including CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UART, and SPI.
