Commercial Construction Project Manager | Spartanburg, SC | Full-Time

Job Summary
We are a leading commercial general contractor specializing in hospitality renovations and retail build-outs. We are looking for a dynamic and highly organized Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and site coordination will drive project success while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects by developing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software.

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications and schematics are accurately interpreted and implemented.

  • Manage project budgets by performing accurate construction estimating and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Oversee construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and contractual obligations.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to facilitate clear communication among all stakeholders.

  • Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam and other construction management software to track progress, manage documentation, and resolve issues promptly.

  • Monitor project timelines meticulously through project scheduling techniques; adjust plans proactively to mitigate delays or risks.

  • Facilitate effective project coordination by managing subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless workflow.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and compliance with design specifications.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, including incident reports and progress logs for stakeholders' review.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in commercial projects; site experience is essential.

  • Proficiency in project management tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and other relevant software platforms.

  • Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and construction estimating processes.
