Job description

Due to nuclear site access/or export-controlled project requirements, this role requires candidates to be U.S. Citizens and not hold dual citizenship. Candidates must also be willing to work on W2.

Standard Hours Per Week: 40 (This is a 2nd shift opportunity)


Pay Rate : $57/hr

Must-Have Technical Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of experience with graphical-based CAM System CNC Programming
  • Hands-on experience with Siemens NX CAM (preferred and highly prioritized)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for complex 4-axis and 5-axis machining operations.
  • Create efficient machining strategies for high-temperature alloys and large precision components.
  • Validate CNC programs using virtual machining and simulation software before production.
  • Develop macro programming, probing routines, and closed-loop machining processes.
  • Support commissioning and optimization of new CNC machine tools and manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot machining processes and assist with first-piece prove-outs.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality, and Production teams to improve machining performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to shop-floor personnel.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and process stability.



Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of offline CNC programming experience using a graphical CAM system.
  • Strong experience with Siemens NX CAM (preferred).
  • Experience programming:
    • 4-axis and 5-axis continuous milling
    • Large Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL)
    • Multi-axis grinding systems
  • Experience machining high-temperature alloys or heavy structural components.
  • Familiarity with CNC controls such as:
    • Siemens Sinumerik
    • Fanuc
    • Okuma
    • Haas
  • Experience with Renishaw probing systems and macro programming.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, process optimization, and manufacturing best practices.
