Software Developer III
This candidate will be part of a team that is responsible for enabling web services. These web services to its southbound interface with network configuration systems (NSO enabled by Tail-f).
The primary responsibility of this candidate is to contribute to the software development life cycle, including gathering requirements, design, development, testing, support and deployment of the Java-based web and network services.
Incorporate standards and best practices, including performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
Update and maintain the service design documents.
Review and provide feedback on technical requirements.
Strong personal commitment to meet goals
A team player with an ability to work autonomously.
The current technology stack includes Java-based micro-services, message-queues, network configuration protocols, and a backend database.
Programming Language Significant experience in Java and an adequate understanding of design patterns. Network Configuration Protocols NETCONF, TELNET, and SNMP Database SQL and experience working with ORM tools and mechanisms.
Data Modeling language YANG Web services related technologies REST, JSON-RPC, Spring, Spring Boot, and Docker CI/CD tools
Experience in using any continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field with 7+ years of professional software development experience Skills and Experience
