About Robbins Electric:

Robbins Electric is a growing electrical contractor serving the Kansas City area with high-end residential, restoration, service, and commercial electrical work. We are known for quality craftsmanship, professionalism, and building lasting relationships with our customers and contractor partners.

We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional to take ownership of our accounting and billing processes while helping support our continued growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage accounts receivable from invoicing through payment collection.
  • Prepare and send customer invoices.
  • Maintain accurate job costing by reviewing labor, materials, receipts, and supplier invoices.
  • Assign materials to the appropriate jobs through customer and contractor portals.
  • Coordinate with our field team to ensure billing information is complete and accurate.
  • Follow up with contractors and customers regarding outstanding invoices and billing questions.
  • Maintain accurate records within company software systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing, accounting, and administrative processes.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2–5 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping, or office administration.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable learning new software and customer portals.
  • Experience in construction, electrical, contractor billing, or a similar trade is preferred.
