Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading global company to fill their open Buyer job in Denver, CO. To qualify, you must have at least one year of recent, relevant experience in a similar role.
This is a TEMPORARY (and potentially TEMP-TO-HIRE) job opportunity where you will earn between $28.00 and $32.00 per hour. This role is expected to last 6 months but it may be extended, depending on your performance and our client's future needs. During the temporary assignment, you will also be able to sign up for LHH's benefits programs (details below). If you are converted to a permanent employee, you will be eligible for this company's competitive benefits package.
Responsibilities:
-Entering and tracking purchase orders in the ERP software
-Sourcing, vetting, and negotiating with vendors
-Obtaining quotes and price lists from vendors
-Maintaining records of material specifications and pricing
-Expediting orders; working with transportation companies
-Tracking and monitoring suppliers' performance
-Monitoring material demand for inventory planning and strategic sourcing
-Running performance reports for management
-All other related tasks as required
Qualifications:
-At least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar Buyer role
-Excellent attention to detail
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent organizational skills
-Excellent analytical skills
-Previous experience with ERP software preferred
-Previous experience coordinating international shipping logistics preferred
Schedule:
-Monday - Friday
-Typically 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; you must be flexible and able to adjust your schedule depending on business needs as you will be working with colleagues located in various time zones
Compensation:
-Hourly rate between $28.00 and $32.00
