Job description

Title and Escrow Support / Office Assistant
Location: 6000 Parkland Blvd., Mayfield Heights, OH
Erie Title is a full-service title and escrow company serving real estate agents and their clients since 1998. We are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and efficient closings.
Position Summary: You will provide operational support for our title and escrow departments. This position helps ensure that our transactions are processed accurately and efficiently and that we are providing the best service possible to our customers and agents.
Key Responsibilities:
E-Filing
  • Review deeds, mortgages and other recordable documents for our closings for accuracy and adherence to state and county standards.
  • Electronically submit documents to recorder offices.
  • Monitor recording status and maintain accurate tracking of all submitted documents.
  • Communicate with county recorder offices, escrow teams, and legal department to resolve recording issues and resolve any errors with documents.
  • Maintain organized records of all the documents submitted and filed.
Post-Closing
  • Review final closing documentation for completeness and compliance with lender and company requirements.
  • Distribute finalized closing documents to lenders, buyers, and other appropriate parties.
  • Communicate with lenders, buyers, Escrow Officers, and internal departments to resolve post-closing related issues.
  • Track document status and maintain accurate post-closing records.
Administrative/Escrow Assistant
  • Assist escrow teams in processing short sale requests.
  • Provide administrative support to Escrow Officers and other Escrow Assistants as needed.
General: Support the Escrow, Title, and Closing teams by performing additional duties and assisting with special projects as business needs require.
Qualifications
  • Experience in the real estate industry required.
  • Knowledge of real estate contracts, title insurance, and escrow procedures preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Proficiency with SoftPro and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team.
