What You Will Be Doing

As a Softgoods Product Specialist, you will play a key role in bringing innovative products to life, partnering closely with the Senior Manager of Product Development from concept through production, delivery, and fulfillment. This highly collaborative role combines product development, vendor management, and project coordination, with ownership of sample development, product tracking, launch readiness, and cross-functional communication. You will work with domestic and international suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and timeline objectives are met, proactively identify and resolve development challenges, manage purchase order and vendor onboarding processes, and maintain accurate product and launch documentation. You will also support product launches through sample management, product asset coordination, and partnership with marketing and sales teams. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations and business objectives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 2+ years of product development experience with exposure to product design, including experience working with logo specifications and logo placement on apparel and specialty products.

  • Knowledge of costing, negotiation, forecasting, manufacturing, materials, and construction techniques.

  • Understanding of domestic and international product development and production lead times, as well as the product development lifecycle from design concept through production.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple development projects simultaneously across various product categories.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Visual Merchandising experience preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. and sit for extended periods.

Pay Range: $63,044.00-$78,517.00
