Job description

A. Duda and Sons, Inc. has immediate openings for full-time hourly Sod Stackers working at our Sod Farm location in Viera Florida.ย  The Sod Stacker is part of the harvesting team responsible for stacking sod.ย ย Typical work hours are Monday - Friday 6 am to 4 pm with some opportunities to work overtime/weekends.ย  In addition, the Sod Stacker's duties may include the following:

  • Mowing, rolling and sharpening blades
  • Repairing pallets
  • Forklift Operation
  • Tractor driving
  • General upkeep of the shop area

**Sod harvesting and work hours may vary due to demand and weather conditions.

Sod Stackers are paid a $1 piece rate per pallet in addition to their hourly wage.ย  Average pallets per day can be approximately 75.ย  Tractor driving skills are preferred but not mandatory.ย  Must be age 18 or older.ย
