What are SOC RAs (Security Operations Center Research Analysts)?

SOC RAs, or Security Operations Center Research Analysts, are professionals who monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats within an organization. They analyze security alerts, assess vulnerabilities, and work closely with other IT and security staff to ensure incidents are managed effectively. Their role is critical in maintaining the organization’s security posture and protecting sensitive data from potential breaches. SOC RAs typically use various security tools and techniques to identify and mitigate risks in real-time.
