The Allure Group is a consortiumof six rehabilitation centers across Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY, specializingin post-acute and sub-acute skilled nursing and rehabilitation. We prideourselves in providing a high standard of care for patients of all ages andconditions, while upholding an environment of kindness, dignity, and respectfor employees and residents alike. As a Social Worker at The AllureGroup, you would be part of a winning team doing meaningful work to improve thequality of life, health, and comfort of residents.

Social Worker Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the medical, social, and emotionalneeds of each resident are provided for
  • Work together with other staff to identifypotential difficulties for residents
  • Serve as a resident advocate
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, orother services to residents and families
  • Assist new residents and families in the initialadjustment phase
  • Work with residents and families on planningdischarges
  • Act as a liaison to Federal, State, and localagencies providing service to the resident community
  • Maintain a productive working relationship withother department supervisors
  • Coordinate social services to assure the dailysocial services can be adequately provided

Social Worker Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Social Work

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity ina skilled nursing facility
