About the Role

Hello, School Social Workers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring School Social Workers for K-12 school settings in Aurora, CO. In this role, you'll support students' social-emotional well-being, family engagement, and access to learning by providing counseling, crisis support, and collaborating with educators, families, and school teams.

This is a great opportunity for School Social Workers who want to make a meaningful impact on students while working as part of a collaborative school team. In this role, you'll build meaningful relationships with students, support their social-emotional needs, connect students and families with valuable resources, and collaborate with educators and related service providers to help students succeed. We welcome both new and experienced clinicians who are passionate about supporting students and making a difference in the school community!

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers

  • Support attendance, engagement, and wraparound services for students and families

  • Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans

  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation

  • Connect families to community resources and supports

What We're Looking For
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field

  • Valid Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility by start date)

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis response skills

  • School-based experience preferred, not required

  • Passion for supporting students' mental health and well-being
