Though work is primarily conducted from a climate-controlled home office, opportunities exist for collaboration and discussion with colleagues, fostering a sense of community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses when applicable, and evaluate the effectiveness of mental health care initiatives using established diagnostic tools, such as the DSM-5, ensuring culturally appropriate and individualized care plans.
  • Continuously monitor patient progress, implementing targeted interventions and strategies to support mental health diagnoses and improve outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely treatment records and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures, leveraging technology to streamline processes.
  • Collaboratively develop and refine treatment plans with patients and their families, addressing specified needs and goals while ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care.
  • Facilitate referrals and build strong relationships with treatment providers and agencies, acting as a linking resource for patients navigating their care journey.
  • Provide mentorship and educational opportunities to students, interns, residents, and volunteers, enhancing their understanding of clinical practices and patient care.
  • Participate in team initiatives such as peer-to-peer review, clinical collaboration, and chart auditing to support the growth and development of fellow team members.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will primarily work with individuals and families affected by cancer, addressing the complex emotional and psychological challenges associated with this diagnosis. The role demands compassion, sensitivity, and the ability to create a safe, supportive environment conducive to healing and growth.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.
  • Strong competence in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods and familiarity with the DSM-5 for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in healthcare, particularly within oncology or a detox setting, is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster partnerships with various stakeholders, including patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Proven track record of developing effective treatment plans that drive positive patient outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for the Licensed Clinical Social Worker position is competitive, ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually.
