As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Administering therapeutic interventions, including individual and group counseling sessions, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation.

• Staying informed about current research and best practices in mental health to enhance therapeutic techniques and patient outcomes.

This role primarily focuses on supporting a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents, many of whom face unique challenges including anxiety, depression, school-related stress, and trauma. You will be instrumental in creating a safe space where students feel comfortable discussing their feelings and experiences, ultimately helping them navigate their emotional landscapes and improve their overall quality of life.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of New York.
• In-depth knowledge of solution-based psychotherapy interventions and evidence-based practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, and colleagues.

While a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field of social work is required, candidates with prior experience in school settings or with children and adolescents will be given preference.
