Job description

Red Bank Catholic High School is seeking a dedicated and faith-filledย Religion Teacherย to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic who is committed to the mission of Catholic education and passionate about helping students grow in faith, knowledge, moral understanding, and service to others.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a strong understanding of Catholic doctrine, Scripture, theology, and Church tradition;
  • Have competency in Catholic Social Teaching, including the Church's moral and theological wisdom regarding human dignity, the common good, poverty, economic justice, human rights, and the responsibilities of individuals and institutions in society;
  • Possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Theology or a related field;
  • Have strong classroom management skills and experience teaching at the high school level;
  • Demonstrate a commitment to supporting the spiritual, academic, and personal growth of students;
  • Have the ability to engage high school students in meaningful discussion and reflection;
  • Have a collaborative spirit and willingness to contribute to the broader life of the school community.

The salary range for this position is $44,000 to $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
