WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Write and adapt standards-aligned Character Education curriculum for grades K-5.You’llcreate engaging lesson plans, assessments, and student materials that foster social-emotional learning, ethical decision-making, and positive citizenship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Write and adapt Character Education curriculum and instructional materials (units, lesson plans, assessments, student materials)
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, editors, and instructional designers
  • Incorporate evidence-based best practices in Character Education instruction
  • Revise materials based on client feedback
  • Support development of professional learning materials for teachers
  • Apply knowledge of current trends in Character Education
  • Integrate innovative strategies and tools to enhance learner engagement
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or related field
  • Familiarity with AI tools and comfort learning new software platforms
  • Strong familiarity with the US K-12 education system preferred
  • Excellent writing skillsrequired, educational writing experience preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Commitment to educational equity
  • Comfort with project management tools and deadlines
  • Commitment to organizational mission and inclusion
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and multitask
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and meet frequent deadlines
  • Sense of humor and ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Experience (professional, internship, or volunteer) in teaching preferred
