The Coordinator of Business Development and Marketing helps organize and all aspects of business development and marketing communications; including development, implementation, monitoring, updating and ongoing analyzation of the organizations strategic business development and marketing plan. In partnership with the department leaders, the coordinator is focused on driving profitable volume, clinical program and service line development, assisting in physician development and recruitment, community liaison, strategic marketing campaigns, internal communications, PR and event planning to increase revenues and profits. Assists with media relations, website and social media strategy.


Education and Work Experience

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business (Development), Communications or related field required
  2. At least 3 years of experience in related field (business development and/or marketing, communications, PR) required; healthcare experience a plus.
  3. Experience with project/program management strongly preferred
  4. Knowledge and experience in program planning, organization, implementation and operations. This must have included responsibility for strategic planning, marketing, communications, business development and market research.
  5. Strong writing skills and verbal communication skills required
  6. Must be energetic, proactive and self-driven, able to work well independently and with others.
