Position Description:
The Media Project Manager will provide campaign coordination, planning support, operational management, and performance reporting support for a marketing team responsible for national campaigns. This role serves as the central point of coordination across campaign workstreams, ensuring campaigns are effectively planned, tracked, documented, communicated, analyzed, and reported across multiple channels and stakeholder groups.
This person will serve as "air traffic control" for the marketing team's national campaign activity, maintaining a comprehensive view of campaign plans, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, results, and business impact. The role will help ensure the team has clear visibility into what campaigns are in market, what is planned, what needs attention, and how campaign work is progressing against business objectives.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced marketing environment. They should be able to listen across workstreams, identify what needs to be captured or clarified, connect marketing activity back to business results, and translate information into clear spreadsheets, decks, reports, and leadership-ready updates.
The role is located in Atlanta, GA in a hybrid working environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Campaign Planning & Coordination
• Serve as the primary coordinator for national marketing campaigns and strategic marketing initiatives.
• Maintain centralized campaign documentation, ensuring timelines, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, decisions, and action items remain current and accessible.
• Support campaign managers and marketing leaders in coordinating planning activities, meetings, project milestones, and follow-ups.
• Capture meeting outcomes, action items, risks, decisions, and next steps, and ensure appropriate follow-up across stakeholders.
• Identify potential timeline conflicts, dependencies, execution risks, and information gaps, and escalate as needed.
• Help ensure the marketing team has a clear, organized, and accurate view of national campaign work in progress.
Campaign Operations, Analytics & Visibility
• Maintain a centralized, real-time view of all active and upcoming national campaigns across the marketing portfolio.
• Manage campaign status tracking and reporting processes to ensure consistent visibility across workstreams.
• Coordinate updates from project owners and cross-functional partners to maintain accurate project information.
• Monitor campaign progress against established milestones and communicate status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Track campaign activity, deliverables, outcomes, and available performance inputs to help assess how work is contributing to business results.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based trackers, reporting templates, dashboards, and summary documents to support planning, visibility, and business analysis.
• Prepare PowerPoint reports and leadership updates that clearly summarize campaign activity, progress, risks, dependencies, and results.
• Ensure campaign documentation, planning resources, reporting files, and performance tracking materials are consistently maintained and organized.
Campaign Calendar Management
• Own and maintain the national campaign calendar, providing a comprehensive cross-channel view of campaign activity.
• Coordinate campaign timing, launch schedules, key milestones, and major business moments across multiple marketing channels.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize campaign alignment.
• Ensure campaign calendar updates are communicated effectively across partner teams.
Channel Coordination & Tracking
• Manage channel support tracking across national campaigns, ensuring visibility into channel participation, deliverables, readiness, and status.
• Maintain records of campaign messaging, channel requirements, execution plans, and performance-related inputs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and validate campaign support information.
• Provide reporting and updates on campaign readiness, execution status, risks, and results.
Project Management & Team Support
• Maintain project management tools and documentation to support team workflow, task management, and visibility.
• Use Microsoft Planner and related tools to track tasks, action items, owners, deadlines, and progress across multiple campaigns and initiatives.
• Track action items, deliverables, deadlines, dependencies, and follow-ups across multiple campaigns and workstreams.
• Support process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, visibility, consistency, and reporting rigor.
• Assist with preparation of leadership updates, status reports, campaign recaps, planning documentation, and business review materials.
• Act as a proactive business partner to the marketing team by identifying what needs to be organized, clarified, tracked, documented, or elevated.
• Support additional campaign planning, reporting, and operational initiatives as needed.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 3+ years of experience in project coordination, campaign operations, marketing operations, project management, business operations, analytics coordination, or a related field.
• Experience supporting marketing teams, national campaigns, integrated campaigns, or multi-channel marketing initiatives strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to organize information, identify patterns, track progress, and connect marketing activity to business results.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience building and maintaining trackers, status reports, reporting templates, and analysis tools.
• Strong PowerPoint skills, including the ability to organize complex information into clear, polished, leadership-ready presentations.
• Experience working in Microsoft Planner or similar project/task management platforms.
• Strong organizational, project coordination, and time management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy across multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience managing project plans, timelines, status reporting, task tracking, documentation, and stakeholder updates.
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple stakeholders and translate it into clear reporting, documentation, and next steps.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced marketing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, project owners, and senior stakeholders.
• Experience supporting performance tracking, business reporting, or marketing analytics preferred.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $58,000.00 $123,800.00.
