Social Media Creative Lead

A fast‑growing, nationally recognized organization is seeking a Social Media Creative Lead to oversee community engagement, guide content execution, and manage a team responsible for shaping the digital voice of a diverse, multi‑brand portfolio.

This senior‑level role is ideal for a digital native who understands internet culture intuitively, leads with creative vision, and can translate emerging trends into elevated, on‑brand storytelling. You will manage community strategy across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and emerging platforms, ensuring each brand’s identity is expressed with authenticity, creativity, and polish - while mentoring junior creators and supporting broader digital initiatives.

You will work closely with senior members of the social and creative team to oversee community engagement, guide content production, and manage workflows across multiple markets. This leader will play a critical role in defining and elevating the organization’s digital presence.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Manage, mentor, and develop junior social media coordinators and content creators
  • Oversee daily workflows, priorities, and deadlines across multiple brands
  • Provide creative direction, feedback, and coaching to ensure elevated, on‑brand execution

Community Strategy & Engagement

  • Lead community engagement across assigned accounts, including comments, DMs, audience interactions, and reputation management
  • Establish best‑in‑class community guidelines, tone, and response frameworks
  • Monitor sentiment, identify opportunities, and escalate issues as needed

Content Oversight & Production

  • Guide TikTok‑forward content strategies across multiple brands
  • Oversee filming, editing, and publishing of high‑quality short‑form video optimized for platform performance
  • Ensure content aligns with each brand’s identity, audience, and tone
  • Attend shoots and activations to direct mobile capture, behind‑the‑scenes storytelling, and social‑first moments

Trend Intelligence & Creative Direction

  • Identify emerging trends, sounds, creators, and cultural moments with strong brand fit
  • Translate trends into elevated, concept‑appropriate content across diverse brands
  • Collaborate with the social team to maximize content captured from shoots, events, and activations

Analytics & Planning

  • Lead weekly content planning sessions and contribute to monthly analytics reviews
  • Provide insights, recommendations, and performance summaries to senior leadership
  • Support long‑term content strategy and platform growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • 4-6+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation
  • Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring junior team members
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple brands, priorities, and workflows in a fast‑paced environment
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and current social media trends
  • Strong creative instincts and experience filming/editing short‑form video
  • Exceptional communication skills, organization, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable appearing in content and participating in lifestyle‑focused shoots when needed
  • Must be available five (5) days a week in‑office

Requirements

  • Portfolio or examples of previous social media work required for consideration
  • Portfolio should include short‑form video, TikTok campaigns, content creation, or managed accounts
  • Ability to travel occasionally for content shoots across multiple markets
