NATURE AND SCOPE:
Reporting to the Public Relations, Partnerships & Social Media Director, the Social Media Lead is responsible for managing and enhancing Landmark’s online presence, guiding the organic social media content strategy and tracking the performance of that content to grow brand awareness and audience engagement. This role bridges strategic marketing initiatives and day-to-day execution across Landmark’s social channels, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. In collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, the Social Media Lead will bring the Landmark brand to life through creative storytelling and differentiated content that resonates with current and prospective members. This role will also ensure that content matches the brand voice and leverages digital trends, while managing monthly content calendars. Tracking/reporting against key metrics is a must and adjusting content to maximize reach is expected from this role. A passion for community building and a strong understanding of social media trends, tools, and best practices are essential to success in this role.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is required, along with four years of hands-on social media experience. ,This role must have deep knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok). Familiarity with financial industry is preferred. A combination of education and experience may also be considered.
2. Superior writing and editing skills.
3. Hands-on experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva.
4. Strong project management capabilities, and must be able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
5. Direct experience using social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social.
6. Clear understanding of each social channels’ audience and their effectiveness in driving results.
7. Experience leading the strategy, execution and reporting of social media metrics; ability to interpret the results and take action to increase social media campaign success.
8. Strong understanding of Meta Business Manager/Suite.
9. Validated demonstration of excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
10. Competency with Microsoft Office products with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
11. Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must comply with all company policies, procedures, and job-related state and federal laws and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Sets the strategy and owns and leads the day-to-day management and optimization of Landmark’s organic social media content.
2. Generates ideas that increase brand visibility and supports business goals through organic social media.
3. Leads the capturing/creation of engaging content across platforms including but not limited to static imagery, video, copy, etc.
4. Drives audience engagement while ensuring all social content is on brand (style, quality, and tone of voice).
5. Support and maintain digital standards, techniques, and methods for social media marketing and monitor trends and best practices in the social space.
6. Develop and manage content calendars for social media, including planning, scheduling and organizing multi-platform initiatives/content.
7. Monitor social media channels and respond to private and public comments..
8. Ability to identify content on social channels that puts the Landmark brand reputation at high risk and escalate to manager for additional support/guidance.
9. Proactively analyze organic social performance and present performance data to multiple stakeholders. Additionally, provide insights/recommendations on how to increase performance and social engagement.
10. Drive cross-channel efforts by partnering with PR, community and product and service teams to leverage into appropriate social content.
11. Create engaging copy and graphics; direct and capture photos; and develop short-form video for use organically on social media. Prepare content for publishing with images, video, tracking codes, tagging, etc.
12. Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
13. Operates independently and proactively meets deliverables and deadlines.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
