Job description

Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana has an outstanding opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented, energetic and outgoing Private Events and Sales person.
The Event Coordinator must be able to multi-task and book small (12-60 person) events while at the same time be the "PR" person for the restaurant.
The ideal candidate will be able to create and develop relationships through sales calls outside the restaurant, interacting with guests, local hotels, DMC's, and the local businesses.
Event Coordinator Requirements/ Responsibilities:
Experience with corporate clientele meetings and special events, rehearsal dinners, and all elements of the social market is helpful!
Build relationships that will lead to referrals for dining, private parties, and events.
Excellent telephone and in person communication with clients and guests.
Proficiency with the suite of Microsoft Office products as well as OpenTable and Micros.
This is a full-time position.
Primarily Monday-Friday.
