Creative @ Droga5
Creatives join Droga5 to do the most influential work of their careers - work that moves people and creates a positive impact on society, from a deep laugh to a shift in cultural norms. We're always ambitious, infiltrating culture and changing minds. Our work is set apart by its point of view, and we know we're only as good as the last piece of work that went out the door.
We're a generous department who help each other, learn from each other, and respect each other. We know we're at our best when everyone here is supportive of one another. About the work and our people, we care more.
Job Summary
Droga5 is looking for a Senior Social Creative with a Copy focus to bring ideas to life through words - and then actually make those words exist in the world. This isn't a role for someone who hands off concepts and waits. You are conceptual as well as executional. Your big ideas lead and your craft delivers. You are a maker who writes, captions, scripts, and crafts copy that feels native to a feed, authentic to a brand, and impossible to scroll past.
You'll work across campaigns and always-on social for iconic brands, embedded in a multidisciplinary team of creatives, strategists, producers, and designers who move fast and care deeply about culture.
What you'll do:
Ideation & Concepting
  • Generate sharp, original ideas for social content - from reactive moments to hero campaign executions - rooted in cultural insight and platform-native thinking
  • Develop concepts across formats: short-form video, carousels, stories, comment-section plays, influencer briefs, and beyond
  • Push creative beyond the safe and expected; bring a genuine POV to every brief
  • Collaborate closely with design, strategy, and production to develop ideas that are as strong visually as they are conceptually

Writing & Making
  • Write copy across all social formats and platforms - captions, scripts, on-screen text, voiceover, headlines, influencer talking points
  • Script and produce short-form video content, from concept through edit, with a deep understanding of what works natively on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Be hands-on: shoot, record, edit, and publish content when the moment calls for it - lo-fi, fast, and real
  • Develop brand voice guidelines and copy frameworks that ensure consistency across platforms and contributors
  • Stay deeply current with language, formats, and humor that resonate on each platform

Brand & Cultural Fluency
  • Build and maintain an intimate understanding of each client's brand voice, visual identity, and audience
  • Monitor cultural trends, platform shifts, and internet moments to identify reactive and proactive creative opportunities
  • Contribute to creative presentations and thought leadership that help clients understand the power of social-first thinking

Here is what you'll need:
  • 5+ years of experience in a creative role with a copy focus, at an agency or in-house brand team with a strong social practice
  • A portfolio that proves you can concept, write, and make - not just ideate

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Deep fluency in TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platform formats
  • Ability to write across registers: funny, sincere, provocative, informational - whatever the brand and moment demand
  • Experience scripting and producing social video content, including self-directed lo-fi shoots
  • A collaborative spirit and comfort working in cross-functional teams at speed
  • Genuine curiosity about culture - you're always online, always noticing, always inspired
  • Experience with generative AI tools for ideation and content creation is a plus
