Who you are  

You are a motivated and detail-oriented creative with an interest in social media, video editing, and digital storytelling. As a Social Media/Content Intern, you will support the marketing team with social media posting, content scheduling, and editing short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, comfortable taking direction, and excited to gain hands-on experience in content creation for a growing consumer technology brand. This is an on-site part-time role up to 25 hours per week. 

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into short-form videos for Satechi Social's chanels. 

  • Trim and sequence clips, add captions, transitions, music, and other basic editing elements to create polished social content. 

  • Repurpose existing footage into platform-optimized formats and aspect ratios for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social platforms. 

  • Help schedule and publish content while supporting the organization of the social media content calendar. 

  • Assist the creative team during content shoots, including helping on set, organizing footage, and maintaining clean file structures. 

  • Contribute fresh content ideas based on social media trends, platform best practices, and audience engagement. 

  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to support day-to-day content needs. 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Film, Digital Media, or a related field. 

  • Experience editing and assembling short-form video using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms. 

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content formats, including vertical, square, and horizontal video for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. 

  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to take and apply creative direction. 

  • Reliable communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. 

  • Interest in consumer technology, social media trends, and digital storytelling. 

  • A reel, portfolio, or sample edits are strongly preferred.

Compensation 

The pay range for this position is $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.
