Social Assistants are professionals who support social workers and other care providers in helping individuals and families access social services. They assist clients by connecting them with resources such as food, housing, healthcare, and counseling. Social Assistants often work in community organizations, healthcare settings, or government agencies, providing administrative support, conducting client interviews, and helping with case management. Their role is essential in ensuring that vulnerable populations receive the support and services they need.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a social assistant?
