Job description

Summary

The Soccer Operations Coordinatorย is responsible forย coordinating all soccer operations for Asphalt Green Soccer Club (AGSC) under the direction of the Associate Director of Soccer and/or the Director of Soccer Operations. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of AGSCโ€™s competitive teams and supplemental programs, ensuring a high-quality experience for athletes, families, and staff.ย 

Responsibilitiesย 

  • Manage and supervise operational aspects of competitive team programming (approximately 520 athletes) under the direction of the Director of Soccer and/or Associate Director of Soccer.ย 

  • Assistย with staff oversight, including scheduling, onboarding, and training for approximately 20 part-time coaches.ย 

  • Conduct weekly staff and player evaluations.ย 

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for coaches, handling a high volume of communication.ย 

  • Perform essential administrative duties to support daily operations.ย 

  • Coordinate travelย logisticsย for staff and players, including tournaments and events.ย 

  • Assistย with player registration, payments, and data intake across systems.ย 

  • Coordinate and support AGSC events, including club initiatives and special programming.ย 

  • Assist with AGSC tryouts and player placement processes.ย 

  • Travel with staff to provide on-site tournament support as needed.ย 

  • Performย additionalย duties as assigned by the Director of Soccer Operations or Director of Soccer.ย 

  • Minimumย USSF โ€œDโ€ License or equivalent coaching certification.ย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Businessย orย a relatedย fieldย required;ย Masterโ€™sย degree or MBA preferred.ย 

  • Minimum of 3โ€“5 years of experience working in a youth sports environment.ย 

  • Previousย youth soccer coaching experience.ย 

  • Strong administrative, organizational, and time-management skills.ย 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in working with a demanding parent community.ย 

  • Proficiencyย in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Teams.ย 

  • Experience working in a Salesforce environment preferred.ย
