Job Title: Soccer Head Coach
Department: Athletics
Position: Part-Time, Flexible Schedule
Saint Patrick Catholic School is currently seeking a Head Soccer Coach for the Middle School beginning August 1, 2026 to work 2-4 afternoons/evenings a week.
Overview
Founded in 2005, Saint Patrick Catholic School (Norfolk, Virginia) is an independent Catholic school with an enrollment of approximately 400 students in grades pre-kindergarten through eight. Boasting a vibrant and accomplished team of educators, the school encourages students to develop a growth mindset while creating an educational framework focused on reinforcing six "pillars" of education that support the total formation of each student. Saint Patrick is a Glasser Quality School.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Soccer Head Coach for middle school student athletes
  • Become knowledgeable on rules and regulations
  • Setup and take down instructional equipment and ensure area is safe for all participants
  • Supervise student athletes, including while traveling with the team on vans
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director

Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship, professionalism and serve as a positive role model in these capacities
  • Must maintain high energy and enthusiasm
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Education and Experience
  • Soccer coaching experience, working at the middle school level desired
  • First aid/CPR certification is a plus
