Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SoC (System-on-Chip) Engineering Leader to direct a diverse team delivering Architecture and Verified Designs for Power and Clocking. If you are a self-motivated SoC Lead with expertise in Architecting solutions for clocking, managing power and thermals and looking to make a difference in a dynamic growth environment; you have found the right place!
As a Technology Team lead over SoC Power and Clocking, you will be accountable for gathering requirements, prototyping and developing the SOC Level clock, reset, power and thermal management architecture to ensure the efficient and effective use of system resources. You must be able to resolve complex issues throughout the development lifecycle from architectural exploration through to implementation and post silicon bring-up. You will work with partners, OEMs and internal software teams and direct the efforts of a global multi-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve SOC and platform level challenges, playing a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, power efficient SOC products to the market.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering; Master's Degree Preferred
  • 20+ years of experience in SoC architecture and Hardware (HW) design
  • Experience (5+ years) specifically architecting, developing and delivering clock, reset, power and thermal solutions.
  • Strong leadership, collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively lead and manage a global mid size multi-functional team and external partners
  • Ability to synthesize diverse sets of requirements and capabilities into an optimized solution
  • Strong background in these technical areas: Power, Thermal and Electrical Limits management solutions, DVFS, Power Gating, Voltage Regulation, Digital Clocking, Reset, standards such as ARM Power Control System Architecture (PCSA) System Control and Management Interface (SCMI), ACPI and BSA, Processor low power states, Use-Cases power and Performance modeling or Analysis.

Nice To Have Skills and Experience:
  • Experience architecting or developing ARM or x86-based laptop products at SoC and system/platform level
  • Experience in Automotive, IoT, Infrastructure or mobile SoC and board-level power and power delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and requirements
  • Proven track record of timely, to-specification delivery of multiple sophisticated projects in parallel

Salary Range:
$382,500-$517,500 per year
