Key Position Details:

Job Description:
Provides total case management and maintaining documentation for work related and non work related injuries and illness. Enhances return to work efforts for employees; review medical information for temporary and permanent accommodation requests.
Principle Responsibilities
  • Provides assistance with complex issues involving accommodations and return to work.
    • Creates a case management plan including medical management and coordination of return to work within restrictions.
    • Educates employees on workers' compensation and leave process.
    • Works with the Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines, participates and helps facilitate the Reasonable Accommodation Process.
    • Facilitates interactive discussion and provide resolution to minimize lost time.
    • Creates transitional duty opportunities and monitor transitional duty budgets.
    • Manages labor distribution reports and transitional work budget usage.
    • Meets with Human Resources, Safety, union representatives to update on employee status.
    • Participates in workers' compensation claim and legal reviews.
    • Participates and leads educational trainings on return to work and related case management processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Psychology, Rehab, Nursing or related field
  • 3+ years of case management, accommodations or related experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Rehab, Nursing or related field
  • Healthcare experience

Physical Demands
  • Sedentary:
  • Lifting weight up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently

Pay Range
Pay Range: $37.04 to $50.77 per hour
The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
