Job Summary:
Onebridge, a global AI and Data Analytics Consulting Firm, is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Snowflake Administrator to join their innovative team. The role involves owning and administering enterprise Snowflake environments, ensuring reliability, security, scalability, and cost governance of the data platform.
Responsibilities:
• Own and administer enterprise Snowflake environments across development, test, and production.
• Define and enforce platform standards, including access models, naming conventions, and operating procedures.
• Design and maintain Snowflake security and governance controls, including RBAC, data masking, access policies, audit logging, and data classification.
• Optimize platform performance, scalability, and availability through warehouse sizing strategies, clustering, and query optimization.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for Snowflake platform issues, driving long‑term remediation.
• Own Snowflake cost governance, including resource monitors, usage policies, forecasting, and executive‑level cost reporting.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7+ years of experience in data platform, database, or cloud data administration roles.
• Hands-on Snowflake administration experience in enterprise or production environments.
• Strong expertise in SQL, data warehousing concepts, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Deep experience with AWS services, including S3, IAM, networking, and security integrations.
• Proven experience owning production platforms with accountability for reliability, security, and cost.
• Experience partnering with Security, Risk, Compliance, and Cloud Platform teams in regulated or enterprise environments.
