Job Summary:  

Experience the best office in the world teaching Snowsports to guests of all ages. Instructors will deliver quality snowboard instruction to groups and individuals, providing world-class guest service in a safe and fun environment.  
 

Job Specifications:  

  • Starting Wage: $20/hr  
  • Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may have opportunities to earn more with additional teaching incentives 
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027  
  • Shift Type: Part Time hours available. For Full-Time Instructors, a 40-hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume. 
  • Minimum Age: At least 16 years of age  
  • Housing Availability: No   
      

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Teach group and private lessons  
  • Work with guests of all ages, with a focus on children  
  • Deliver world-class guest service  
  • Create a safe and fun learning environment  
  • Support all needs of the snow sports school: inclusive of scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment     
  • Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong snowboarders 
  • Other duties as assigned  
     

Job Requirements:  

  • Must be comfortable and competent snowboarding on groomed blue terrain  
  • Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older  
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English   
  • Must be willing to work weekends/holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements.   
  • Must be comfortable being in snowboard boots for extended period of time    
  • Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards. 

As a Non-Certified Snowboard Instructor, you have the ability to be a flexible employee who works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one-resort mentality which could include: 

  • Lift Experience 
  • Mountain Activities 
  • Food and Beverage Support 
  • Base Area Operations 
  • Retail Rental Operations 

Additional requirements for hires under age 18:  
Submission of a Parental Consent Form upon hire, along with other applicable documents required by state law; such as a work permit, physician's note, and/or proof of birthdate

The expected pay range is $20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
