Position : Lead Test Engineer (Telecom/Infrastructure)
Location: 2 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201 - Day 1 Onsite
Duration: 13+ months
Experience: Minimum 12 years
Working hours : 7 hours per day
Rate : Open
Scope of Services: Manage the implementation and execution of the requirements management process, including elicitation, analysis, and verification. • Interact with stakeholders to oversee the management of functional and non-functional requirements using Use Cases. • Provide key support to design the systems engineering infrastructure, including the establishment of processes, and procedures; manage requirements changes and interface with the requirements tool. • Oversee the development and reporting of requirements metrics with formats and delivery options; oversee the impact of change requests. • Provide key inputs in the development and finalization of test plans, cases, and scripts. Provide analysis of test procedures and results; oversee the allocation of requirements for development iterations and code builds.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in a particular technical and/or business application, product, platform, methodology or skill set.
  • Proven knowledge to set direction and create performance test plans for more than one project and/or application.
  • Experience with testing of various technology platforms.
  • Creation of comprehensive test plans, scripts, templates for testing documentation and system software performance testing.
  • Demonstrated experience working with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Experience as QA lead working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience creating testing estimates and managing testing schedules.

Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with testing controlled interfaces such as TCP/IP, SMTP, SNMP, Custom protocol.
  • Extensive Public Safety experience of UAT planning and execution or related experience.
  • Have knowledge Client-Server computing, LAN/ WAN technology, Network Operating
  • Systems and related communications protocols (TCP/IP, SMTP, SNMP, SIP).
  • Knowledge of 911 Telephony Systems, Logging & Recording Systems, Computer Aided
