Line Cook II - Employee Dining Room (Harrah's Laughlin)
We're looking for a reliable, energetic Line Cook to help prepare the fresh, flavorful dishes Harrah's is known for. This is a handson role in a fastpaced kitchen where teamwork, consistency, and attention to detail make all the difference.
- 3 to 6 months of kitchen experience in a restaurant, hotel, or casino preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and cooking sequences
- Comfort using kitchen tools such as knives, fryers, grills, and ovens
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a highheat, fastpaced environment
Requirements
- Valid SNHD Health Card
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
- Basic math skills for measurements and portioning
- Fluent in English for effective communication
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and portion standards
- Work multiple stations including grill, saute, fry, pantry, and prep
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation in compliance with SNHD and company standards
- Assist with daily prep, restocking, and proper food storage
- Follow food safety procedures including labeling, rotation, and temperature control
- Support opening and closing duties including equipment setup and breakdown
- Communicate clearly with chefs and teammates to ensure smooth service
- Deliver FamilyStyle Service in every interaction with guests and team members
