Job description

about snag
snag is where Gen Z finds affordable, flexible housing. Niko and I are repeat, exited consumer founders building the first AI-native marketplace that makes apartment hunting fast and enjoyable through micro leasing. In the last 30 days, snag generated $15M in demand in NYC, growing 30% month over month. We're backed by a16z speedrun and recently raised a $4M seed round from notable investors, announcing soon.
Our vision is to make housing liquid and create a new real estate asset class by reinventing the lease. We believe the next generation will snag their next address.
what's the role?
  • this is a founding commercial seat where you will own the multifamily supply category. you'll build snag's multifamily playbook from scratch and win landlords and operators nationwide
  • you'll shape the go-to-market playbook, prospecting and closing new partners, and turning them into champions who expand their unit count with us
  • you'll work directly with our founders on pricing, positioning, biz model, and nationwide expansion strategy
in this role, you will...
  • build snag's go-to-market strategy for partnership-driven supply acquisition
  • identify and prioritize potential landlord or operator partners through industry relationships, outreach, networking events, and market research
  • run the full partner sales cycle: pitch, negotiate, close, and onboard new buildings onto snag's marketplace, from independent landlords to institutional multifamily portfolios
  • crisp clarify snag's value proposition for partners, from same-day leasing cycles, to maximized revenue per unit, to automated screening, to P&L fluency
  • nurture new built relationships post-launch, using renewal cycles and performance data to expand unit count within existing partner portfolios
  • work closely with the founding team on pricing, partner feedback, business model, and product priorities so snag's roadmap reflects what b2b multifamily partners actually need
  • track and report on pipeline health, partner performance, and growth metrics (units live, occupancy, revenue per unit) to guide strategy
  • work in a very intense startup environment
qualifications
  • 5-10 years of experience in proptech, multifamily real estate, or residential leasing with existing relationships with multifamily owners and operators in NYC
  • insane communication, conviction-building, and relationship-building instincts and skills
  • the excitement and hustle to build a playbook from scratch and thrive at an early-stage startup
  • experience building a process from the ground up in a fast-changing environment
  • deep desire to change the industry; turn apartment hunting into a joyful experience, to reinvent the traditional lease, and build the place where people will snag their next home
  • growth oriented and proactive mindset
  • go getter attitude
  • ability to be in-market frequently, expanding your network through events, conferences, touring buildings, meeting landlords, and representing snag in person
compensation
  • Cash: $150-210K
  • Equity: 0.2-0.5%
how to apply
  • please submit your resume, links, and why you are the best fit for this role to selin@joinsnag.com
