Franklin Canyon Golf Course, located among gently rolling hillsides, mature oaks, and majestic gum trees just north of San Francisco in Hercules, California, provides an outstanding test for golfers of all skill levels. The 6,594-yard championship course designed by legendary golf course architect Robert Muir Graves features many fun and challenging holes highlighted by two ponds, several tight doglegs, and large undulating greens that encourage precise tee shots to keep your score low and test your golf skills. Each hole at Franklin Canyon Golf Course is truly unique and refreshing. At Franklin Canyon Golf Course, we exceed our guests' expectations through our attention to detail, outstanding course and clubhouse conditions, and professional service.
Position Summary:
The Snack Bar Attendant at Franklin Canyon Golf Course provides friendly, customer-focused service in a golf and hospitality environment. This is a highly guest-facing role, as golfers often gather in the snack bar and bar area after their rounds, making this position a key part of the overall guest experience. Responsibilities include cooking, bartending, preparing and serving food and beverages, operating point-of-sale systems, maintaining clean and organized service areas, and assisting with banquet and special events as needed. Team members are expected to follow all food safety and alcohol service guidelines, deliver excellent hospitality, and complete additional duties as assigned. Job does require light cashiering & bartending.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve food and beverages to guest from the Snack Bar.
  • Cook menu items on grill and deep fryer.
  • Stock all necessary items in the Snack Bar & Pro Shop
  • Maintain and ensure cleanliness of snack bar area.
  • Keep all product organized and stocked.
  • Manage all payments and cash.
  • Balance cash drawer at the end of the shift.
  • Complete assigned side-work and prep-work.
  • Perform other related duties that may be assigned by Management.

Physical Demands
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the snack bar and dining areas for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 25-40 pounds (food, beverages, supplies, etc.)
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and twisting while stocking, cleaning, and preparing items
  • Ability to operate point-of-sale systems, kitchen equipment, and bar tools safely
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes in hot or cold conditions
  • Ability to respond quickly to guest needs and work efficiently during busy periods

Qualifications:
  • Food Handlers Card (Within 30 days of Hire)
  • Responsible Beverage Server Certification (Within 60 Days of Hire)
  • Must be 21+ due to alcohol service requirement
