Job description

Smith & Loveless is united under one cause: โ€œProtecting Water. Protecting People.โ€ย  We are seeking a Blaster (2nd Shift) to partner with our experienced production teams in this environmentally focused industry.ย The primary function of a Blaster (2nd Shift) at Smith and Loveless will be to blast and prep production items, miscellaneous parts, and products for paint.ย  This is a very physically demanding job.ย  Must be able to carry a heavy blaster and move materials (50-100 lbs).ย  First shift is 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.ย  Second shift is 4:00pm to 12:30 am.ย

  • Previous forklift experience and certification preferred.
  • Ability to read work orders
  • Demonstrated good work attendance in previous jobs.

  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Must be able to pass an alcohol and drug screening, background check, and physical exam.
  • Must be able to perform simple, repetitive routine tasks.
