Men's Locker Room Supervisor

Position Summary

The Men's Locker Room Supervisor is a hands-on leadership position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the Men's Locker Room while delivering an exceptional country club experience. This individual works alongside the locker room team, leads by example, and ensures members receive outstanding service through a welcoming attitude, professionalism, and attention to detail.

This position requires a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead and work alongside locker room attendants during each shift.
  • Ensure locker room standards, SOPs, and club policies are consistently followed.
  • Train, coach, and support employees while maintaining a positive, team-oriented environment.
  • Monitor daily operations and communicate concerns to the Director of Custodial Operations.

Member Experience

  • Provide exceptional hospitality by greeting members and guests with a smile and friendly attitude.
  • Build positive relationships with members by anticipating their needs and providing prompt, professional service.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and first-class locker room environment that reflects the standards of the club.
  • Provide shoe shining services and other member amenities as requested.

Locker Room Operations

  • Inspect and maintain all locker room areas, including restrooms, showers, steam room, sauna, lounges, and vanity areas.
  • Restock towels, toiletries, beverages, and other locker room supplies throughout the day.
  • Perform routine cleaning, sanitizing, and inspections to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly and follow up as needed.

Inventory & Department Support

  • Monitor inventory levels of towels, amenities, toiletries, beverages, and cleaning supplies.
  • Keep locker room storage areas organized and notify the Director of Custodial Operations when supplies need to be reordered.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and report shortages or operational needs in a timely manner.
  • Assist with supervising event setup and breakdown when requested, while ensuring locker room operations and member service remain the primary focus.

Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping, hospitality, or locker room experience required
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
