Janitorial Team Leader

Summary:

The Janitorial Team Leader is responsible for leading and directing janitorial team members in the execution of cleaning services at assigned customer locations. This role ensures cleaning

operations meet company safety, quality, and customer satisfaction standards while maintaining an organized and productive work environment.

Duties And Responsibilities:  

  • Lead and coordinate janitorial team members in daily cleaning operations.
  • Assign work tasks and monitor completion to ensure service standards are met.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
  • Provide on-the-job training on proper cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety practices.
  • Maintain daily communication with management and team members regarding operational needs and issues.
  • Conduct routine inspections to evaluate the quality of cleaning services.
  • Address employee concerns and assist with conflict resolution when necessary.
  • Ensure team members follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
  • Complete required administrative and operational documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with building occupants to coordinate cleaning tasks.
  • Support company goals and operational standards.
  • Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
