Job description

Job Title

The purpose of this position is to perform tasks to ensure all work instructions related to the assembly of standard SMC products and simple specials are followed.

Essential Duties

· Adherence to all department work instructions

· Ensure the respective area is compliant with 5S standards

· Process all paperwork necessary associated with established assembly standards

· Execute basic to advanced workflow tasks on established SMC systems

· Assembles and tests standard SMC products and simple specials

· Ability to interpret and apply simple special documentation

· Understanding of SMC's part numbering system

· Understanding and application of physical bin system

· Ability to complete inventory transactions consistent with established work instructions

· Adherence to all safety rules

· Adherence to all Quality Management system standards and policies

All other duties as assigned

Physical Demands/Work Environment

· Physical demands require the person to regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.

· The person is frequently required to climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to hear and talk.

· The work environment will expose the employee to the following elements: Noise, Heat, Cold, Dust

Minimum Requirements
