Smart Homz is a rapidly growing Home Tech company and is seeking field technicians.
Full-time Opportunities throughout NJ, but immediate need in Ocean/Atlantic County (willing to commute to Monmouth on an as needed basis)
We are seeking motivated individuals to install, service, configure, and troubleshoot, home theater, A/V distribution, home networking, security systems and Smart Home systems. This individual will be working in both new and existing construction projects.
Qualified applicants MUST:
  • Have a SOLID WORK ETHIC!
  • Positive "CAN DO" attitude.
  • Strong attention to details with ability to documents the tasks executed
  • Possess valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Possess working flexibility and motivated to improve personally and professionally as it relates to the job.
  • Demonstrate a proven customer service track record with attention to detail.
  • Possess basic safety skills and knowledge.
  • Skilled in working with hand and power tools
  • Sociable and comfortable interacting with our clients,
  • High school diploma or equivalent is a minimum requirement.
  • Be familiar with residential construction
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits and theory.
  • Have trouble-shooting skills
  • Have the desire and willingness to acquire the skills and knowledge in this new and exciting field.
The successful candidate will be working with the latest home automation technologies, and the highest performing audio and video systems.
Experience:
  • Clean Driving Record: 5 years (Required)
  • Installation or servicing Home networking: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Installing or servicing Audio Video systems: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Installation or servicing CCTV systems: 1 year (Preferred)
Education:
  • High school or equivalent (Required)
