Job description

Job Title: Utility Service Designer Location: White Bear Lake, Minnesota Type: 4 month Contract Compensation: $28.00 - $31.50 Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote Hours: Tuesday–Thursday onsite; Monday & Friday remote; flexible start times (many start around 7 AM) as long as available during customer business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Manage utility service design projects from initiation through billing
  • Review customer notifications in SAP
  • Communicate with customers to gather requirements
  • Complete design work in Smallworld GIS
  • Coordinate with work coordinators to schedule field crews
  • Support crews during execution and answer field questions
  • Create work orders in SAP
  • Review completed work and as-built diagrams
  • Calculate billable amounts and generate invoices
  • Finalize billing and respond to customer billing questions
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain organization across tasks
  • Coordinate with work coordinators, field crews, customers, and internal stakeholders

Requirements
