Travoom

Job description

Company Description
Who We Are
Travoom is currently paused as we focus entirely on building OleOle - a football-focused social network, messaging platform, and sports super app designed for the world's biggest sport.
At the same time, oleolesport.com continues to operate as our curated football travel and hospitality marketplace, offering premium fan experiences around the biggest matches and tournaments in the world.
Both platforms are strategically connected:
โ€ข OleOle is the fan engagement, social, messaging, and content platform
โ€ข oleolesport.com is the commerce and travel experiences platform
Together, they are designed to create a complete football ecosystem for fans globally.
What We're Building
OleOle is building a next-generation football platform combining:
โ€ข Social networking and microblogging
โ€ข Messaging and mobile calls
โ€ข TikTok-style short-form video
โ€ข Live scores and match experiences
โ€ข AI-powered football history and statistics
โ€ข Real-time global fan engagement
We believe football deserves its own dedicated platform - not a small section buried inside general-purpose social networks.
Football is the world's biggest sport with more than 3 billion fans globally, yet no company has successfully built a true digital home for football supporters.
OleOle is designed to become that platform.
Why It Matters
Football fandom is global, emotional, tribal, and active every day of the year.
Yet today, the fan experience remains fragmented across disconnected social platforms, messaging apps, score apps, news sites, ticketing sites, and travel providers.
Fans move constantly between products that were never built specifically for football culture or football communities.
We believe supporters are looking for a place to truly "kick off" - a platform designed around how football fans actually communicate, follow matches, consume content, travel, and engage with their clubs and national teams.
Why We're Different
oleolesport.com removes the complexity from planning football travel experiences by combining curated ticketing, hospitality, lodging, and travel experiences into one streamlined platform.
OleOle extends that vision much further - creating a football-first platform built specifically around fan identity, conversation, live interaction, creator content, and global football culture.
This is not another generic sports app.
We are building a dedicated football ecosystem that combines social networking, messaging, content, live experiences, and commerce into a single connected platform.
OleOle - Where Fans Kick Off
Job Description
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Potential Co-Founder
About the Role
We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial CFO with real startup fundraising experience, strong financial leadership skills, and direct access to capital networks.
This is not a traditional corporate finance role.
We are looking for someone who understands how technology-driven businesses are built, financed, and scaled - particularly within areas such as fintech, payments, crypto infrastructure, marketplace businesses, gaming, gambling, or high-growth consumer platforms.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who has personally raised capital and knows how to actively drive fundraising conversations.
We are not looking for someone who simply participated in meetings while others raised money.
We are looking for someone who:
โ€ข Has directly led fundraising efforts
โ€ข Has existing investor relationships and access to capital networks
โ€ข Is comfortable initiating conversations and creating opportunities
โ€ข Understands early-stage fundraising and startup finance
โ€ข Can help strategically position the company with investors and partners
โ€ข Is highly proactive, resourceful, and execution-oriented
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Lead fundraising strategy and investor outreach efforts
โ€ข Build relationships with venture capital, private equity, strategic investors, family offices, and fintech or crypto-focused funds
โ€ข Help shape long-term financial strategy and company structure
โ€ข Work closely with leadership on growth planning, capital allocation, and scaling strategy
โ€ข Support future token, fintech, payments, rewards, or marketplace-related initiatives
โ€ข Help evaluate partnership opportunities, acquisitions, and strategic financing structures
โ€ข Assist in preparing investor materials, financial projections, and fundraising narratives
โ€ข Operate as a strategic business partner during a critical early-stage growth phase
What We're Looking For
โ€ข Demonstrated success raising capital for startups or high-growth companies
โ€ข Existing relationships within venture capital, private equity, fintech, crypto, gaming, gambling, or strategic investor ecosystems
โ€ข Strong understanding of startup finance, growth strategy, and scaling businesses
โ€ข Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution ability
โ€ข Comfortable operating inside fast-moving, high-risk startup environments
โ€ข Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
โ€ข Ability to think strategically while remaining highly execution-oriented
โ€ข Strong understanding of technology-driven business models and platform economics
Strong Plus
โ€ข Experience with crypto, tokenomics, digital assets, or blockchain-related businesses
โ€ข Experience within sports, media, gaming, or gambling industries
โ€ข Experience structuring strategic partnerships or growth financing
โ€ข Experience with fintech, payments, or marketplace infrastructure
โ€ข International fundraising or business development experience
What Makes Someone Successful in This Role
โ€ข You are proactive, entrepreneurial, and highly resourceful
โ€ข You are comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for introductions
โ€ข You understand both startup finance and modern technology businesses
โ€ข You are comfortable operating with ambiguity and evolving priorities
โ€ข You have strong judgment and execution ability
โ€ข You are relationship-driven and capable of opening doors independently
โ€ข You understand that early-stage startups require resilience, persistence, and adaptability
Compensation & Structure
This role is currently structured as deferred compensation.
This is not unpaid work. Compensation is deferred until funding is secured, after which the role is expected to convert into a normalized salary structure, in addition to meaningful equity ownership and potential long-term token participation.
All current team members - including leadership, engineers, designers, and product teams - are currently working under the same structure while the company completes its fundraising process.
There is real startup risk, and fundraising timelines are unpredictable. We are looking for someone who understands the realities of early-stage company building and is excited by the opportunity to help shape and finance a globally ambitious platform from the ground floor.
