The primary responsibilities of the cashier and customer service positions are:

  • Provide excellent customer service to our customers by listening, identifying their needs and responding with solutions and product recommendations.
  • Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions via point of sale system.
  • Responsible for handling cash accurately and balancing daily till.
  • Keep a clean and organized merchandise presentation through facing product, dusting and basic housekeeping.
  • Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
  • Greet customers entering and throughout the store.
  • Continually work on gaining knowledge of the products we sell and their uses.
  • Encourage customers to open Ace Rewards cards by explaining the benefits and features.
  • Represent the business in a positive, friendly and helpful manner. You are the first and last point of contact for our customers.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a strong willingness to learn.
  • Typing and computer literacy required.
  • Bi-lingual a plus.
  • Retail cashier experience preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and some holidays.
  • Knowledge of retail computer systems a plus
  • Must be able to move and stand for an extended period of time.
  • Must be able to lift, move and handle up to 40 pounds periodically.
