Job description

Title I Teacher/Special Education Teacher:

Growing private school in Rochester, NY seeking Title I Intervention Specialist/Teacher. We are looking to hire a qualified, certified teacher to provide direct, small group instruction to academically at-risk students in grades K โ€“ 4.ย 
ย 
Applicants should be excited about supporting studentsโ€™ academic achievement, and providing individualized learning to students with a range of academic needs and learning styles.
ย 
Job Responsibilities: The Title I Intervention teacher willโ€ฆ
โ€ข Provide reading and/or math instruction in small groups sessions for at-risk students.
โ€ข Support the student assessment process and analyze data.
โ€ข Provide individualized and small group instruction based on identified academic weaknesses.
โ€ข Communicate regularly with classroom teachers at the school.
โ€ข Responsibly complete administrative duties including keeping timesheets, tracking sessions, submitting lesson plans, etc.
โ€ข Have paid prep. time so all work can be completed during work hours.
โ€ข Participate in school professional development that is provided on topics including pedagogy, classroom management, differentiation, social-emotional learning, and other education related themes.
